The Teaching and Research Area of Neotectonics and Geohazards led by Professor Reicherter has been complemented by the junior professorship of Remote Sensing of Natural Hazards taken over from Junior Professor Richter since January 2022.
The Teaching and Research Area of Neotectonics and Geohazards, including the junior professorship, employs about 15 non-scientific and scientific staff.
Doctoral and post-doctoral students particularly shape the scientific operations of a teaching and research field and make an important contribution to scientific progress through their publications.
The institute building is located in Lochnerstraße near the Schanz train station and Westpark and is a 5-minute walk from the main building of RWTH Aachen University.
